A while back, I found myself searching for a comprehensive Bible API – something feature-rich, developer-friendly, and deeply rooted in Scripture. But it didn’t exist. So, I built it.
The IQ Bible API was born out of necessity. I wanted more than just text retrieval; I needed access to Strong’s Concordance, original Hebrew and Greek texts, audio narration, and dynamic reading plans. I wanted to empower developers to create advanced Bible apps and websites with ease and have a full set of out-of-the-box tools.
Fast forward to today: the API has grown to serve nearly 400 users on RapidAPI plus over 200 private and enterprise-level clients, with no paid marketing.
This isn’t just a success story – it’s a testament to identifying a gap, solving it, and building something that continues to serve and scale.
