Big Companies That Have Already Replaced Workers with AI in 2025

Microsoft, BestBuy, Google, UPS, Fiverr, Amazon, MSN, Ikea, Salesforce…

A recent World Economic Forum report predicts that 41% of companies will cut jobs by 2030 due to AI, while 77% plan to reskill their workforce. White-collar roles are particularly at risk, with millions of U.S. jobs potentially replaced. [1, 2].

In a LinkedIn post, Micha Kaufman, CEO and co-founder of Fiverr, said, “Today, we are launching such a transformation for Fiverr, to turn Fiverr into an AI-first company that’s leaner, faster, with a modern AI-focused tech infrastructure, a smaller team, each with substantially greater productivity, and far fewer management layers.” [3].

That means exactly what you think it means: AI is coming for jobs – and in many cases, it already has.

But it’s not all doom and gloom – while AI is replacing some roles, some companies are actually creating new roles:

Accenture is rapidly shifting to an AI-driven workforce, growing its AI-trained employees from 40,000 in 2023 to 77,000 in 2025. CEO Julie Sweet emphasized that roles unable to adapt or reskill quickly are being phased out, highlighting how companies are accelerating AI adoption while reshaping jobs. [4].

So for those who adapt and embrace AI, new opportunities are emerging – positions that require creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and human insight.

Now is the time to pivot.

If you don’t, you risk being left behind.
